IEOA updates (20/07/2018)
On the occasion of the recent CHIO Aachen the Board of the IEOA met to discuss the current structure and functionality of our organization. The IEOA was conceived and established more than 20 years ago and has served equestrian sport organizers well as the officially recognized organizers voice to the FEI. While the IEOA is the official voice of all FEI equestrian discipline organizers, there is a definite disparity between disciplines with respect to active and passive participation, membership engagement, geographical participation, and an overall interest and understanding of what the IEOA is, and how it serves acts as our collective within the FEI.

Peter Stoessel 1944 – 2013 (06/01/2014)
May I offer the following words of condolence and respect, on behalf of the AJO, for our friend and colleague Peter? "We are tremendously saddened to learn of the passing of our friend and colleague, Peter Stoessel. Peter has been taken from us much too early but his legacy is sure to live on through his immense contributions to his family, community, and our sport. For those of us that were blessed to work with Peter through the decades, he will be remembered for his standards, character, fairness, ability to listen and effectively lead. His passion for horses is well known and was the common thread that brought each of us together, from all corners of the world, to work together to better our sport. You will be missed friend." Nominated entries (11/07/2012)
Many NF’s asked in how far Nominated Entries are needed for a show. Many NF’s see this phase as extra work for almost nothing as the information is not very accurate at the time of Nominated Entries and they vary anyway from the definite entries. OC’s/NF’s that used the Nominated Entries to get an idea about the response to their invitations could move forward the date of their Definite Entries as there are still substitution possibilities afterwards.
